StarX Employee is an internal workforce management application provided for authorised employees of Starx Products Pvt Ltd. The app does not provide public registration. Employee accounts are created and managed by authorised administrators.
Account Information
The app may process the following employee account information: employee name,
mobile number, email address (where provided), employee ID, and designation.
Employee accounts and this information are created and managed by authorised
administrators.
Location Information
When an employee starts a duty shift by selecting “Start Duty”, the app collects
the employee's precise GPS location, including latitude, longitude and location
accuracy. Location collection continues while the employee's duty is active,
including when the app is running in the background or the device screen is
locked, so the employee can continue using the duty-tracking functionality without
keeping the app open on screen. A persistent foreground-service notification is
displayed while background location tracking is active. Location collection stops
when the employee selects “Stop Duty”. Location information is used for workforce
coordination and verification of field activities during an active duty shift. It
is not used for advertising, marketing or advertising profiling.
Activity and Meeting Information
The app may process client meeting information, including client name, client
phone number, meeting date and time, meeting notes, and the location associated
with the meeting. This information is used to maintain business records of client
visits and activities.
Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect
The app does not intentionally collect contacts, photos, messages, call logs,
browsing history, microphone/audio recordings, or data from other applications.
Account information is used for authentication and employee identification. Precise location is used for workforce coordination and verification of activities during an active duty. Meeting information is used for maintaining business records of client visits and activities. We do not use location information for advertising, marketing or advertising profiling.
Employee information is accessible only to authorised Starx Products Pvt Ltd administrators and personnel who require access for legitimate business purposes. An employee cannot access another employee's information through the application. We do not sell employee information or share it with advertisers. Information may be processed by third-party infrastructure and service providers (such as hosting and database providers) that help us operate the application; these providers process information only as necessary to provide their services to us.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and applicable business and legal requirements. Once the applicable retention period expires, information is deleted or anonymised where reasonably practicable. Employees may view information made available to them through the application, stop active duty tracking by selecting “Stop Duty”, withdraw location permission through their device settings, and request information about, or correction or deletion of, their personal data, subject to applicable legal and business requirements. If location permission is denied or withdrawn, location-dependent features may not function; other features that do not require location may continue to be available.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. The application communicates with its backend services over HTTPS, and authentication uses token-based authentication.
StarX Employee is an internal workforce application intended for authorised employees and is not directed toward children under 18.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, we will update the Last Updated date on this page. Where appropriate, significant changes may also be communicated to employees through other reasonable means.
